What to Know Before You Start
Choosing a service
Which plan is right for me?
Diagnostic helps clarify priorities; Host Starter builds a foundation in 30 days; Launch Pro supports a launch over 60 days; Growth Advisory focuses on ongoing optimization. An introductory call can help identify the best fit.
What is the difference between Host Starter and Launch Pro?
Host Starter includes two sessions and the kit for 30 days of implementation. Launch Pro includes four sessions, 60 days, post-launch follow-up and brief WhatsApp questions.
Can I change plans later?
We can evaluate the next service based on your progress. Any scope or price change is agreed before continuing; plans do not switch automatically.
Payments & scheduling
In what order do I pay and schedule?
Diagnostic: payment, property information, then scheduling. Host Starter: project information, payment, then the first session. Launch Pro and Growth Advisory: application and fit call before payment. Host Starter, Launch Pro and Growth Advisory forms are available. Online payment and scheduling will follow; Diagnostic requires payment first.
Can I reschedule Diagnostic Session?
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations and missed sessions do not qualify for a refund.
What if I need more consulting time?
Additional private consulting is available at $125 per hour, subject to availability.
Scope
Is Property Management included?
No. Guest communication, reservations, cleaning, maintenance, incidents and daily operations remain your responsibility, including with Growth Advisory.
Do you guarantee revenue or occupancy?
No. Results depend on market conditions, location, demand, competition, implementation and other factors. We provide professional analysis and recommendations.
Can consulting later become Property Management?
Yes, we can evaluate full management if the property and location fit CR Stays’ service.
Does Growth Advisory require an active listing?
It is primarily for operating properties, but prelaunch and relaunch cases can be considered. We do not require metrics that do not yet exist and may recommend Launch Pro first.
Logistics
Are sessions virtual and bilingual?
Private sessions take place by video call and are available in English or Spanish.
Do you work outside Costa Rica or visit properties?
Projects outside Costa Rica and in-person visits are evaluated based on location, scope and availability. A visit is not automatically included in a plan.
Is this an official Airbnb program?
No. Host Consulting is a private, independent CR Stays service.
